Welcome to our website.  Watch this site for information about "The Water Company".  If you need us for emergencies our 24 hour number is our main number,  281-337-1576.  If you call that number either our customer service staff or an on-call operator will contact the right members of our staff to help you.     

New Communication Method Called Blackboard Connect

You will see a new push button to the right of our building photo above. Blackboard connect will let us communicate directly with you using up to three different contact numbers or methods. We suggest that you use your home phone, your cell phone and your email address. But one of the three choices may include text messaging too. This gives us another tool to use to get info to you before, during or after a major event or disaster. Most of your home phone numbers should be in the system but we would like you to verify them by clicking the button and following the instructions. Add any additional contact numbers or addresses if you wish. Thanks.

Watching the Tropics

Since we are likely to have an active hurricane season, we are continuously monitoring conditions in the Gulf of Mexico.  The District works closely with the City of Dickinson and the Galveston County Office of Emergency Management to stay on top of issues that may affect us.  Please watch our website and the City's for any information you might need regarding our services.

Water Line Letter Not From Us

We have had calls regarding a letter from a company offering Water Line Service Coverage.  This letter is not affiliated with The Water Company/WCID#1 in any way.  This letter appears to be a form of homeowner's insurance that they say will pay to have water leaks fixed at your home.  AGAIN, THIS IS NOT SPONSORED BY OR AFFILIATED WITH THE WATER COMPANY IN ANY WAY.    We cannot advise you one way or the other about this service.  
We do suggest that you check with the Better Business Bureau if you have any concerns.
